Project 900 – It’s time for something a little crazy to help a lot of nonprofits
And you can help (if you want)
It’s time for something a little crazy. And for those who know me, this should not be a surprise. First, here’s what happened. I’ve been doing marketing consulting in addition to my Podcast Company (and nonprofit). I’m wrapping up a huge, year-long project for a client that has gone well, and they don’t need my support any longer. So, last March, I started hunting for my next big client, as one does when a large portion of their income is about to go away.
I’ve been networking my tail off to find two new clients, which is a lot of fun but also exhausting. Then, about a month ago, I asked myself this question: “What if I stopped networking to help myself, and spent that time trying to help nonprofits with AI?”
As you can guess, that’s what I’m doing this summer! Over the roughly 90 days of summer, my goal is to help 900 nonprofits adopt AI and use those new skills to improve their marketing.
Project 900 (sign up at project900.com) will kick off on June 20th. Every Monday, I’ll have a new lesson to help nonprofits adapt to using AI. Then, throughout the week, I’ll send them assignments and tools that will help them along, finishing the week with a Q&A call on Fridays to support everyone.
Project 900 is completely free. You may be asking, “But what do you get out of this, Adam? ” Well, that’s a great question. I’ll get the satisfaction of helping a ton of nonprofits that help a ton of people—that’s number one. I’ll also expand my network a bit, so hopefully, another consulting client might come along—or maybe not. I’m not that worried about it.
I mostly just want to help because nonprofits are really hurting right now. AI is creating a new digital divide that will put nonprofits further behind. If I can help fix that problem, I want to spend my time doing that.
How can you help? Glad you asked. Share project900.com with all the nonprofit folks you know. Post about it on social (and feel free to comment about how I’m nuts). Or, sign up yourself if you want, I’d be glad to have you.
Let’s make this summer count!
Love you son! I wish you great success.
